Where Is Sunday?

Sunday is my favourite day of the week. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the Sabbath day, the preacher’s sermon or how I salivate when first timers are asked to stand up in church.

Since religion has taken its toll on us and churches keep spreading like wildfire, I have decided to maximize the opportunity. These new generation churches entertain their first timers so they become members. I decided I would go to different churches every Sunday to partake in first timers’ charity malt. While going, I sometimes pray they evolve to serving the new comers with delicacies like rice and chicken. I am not trying to advertise how hungry I am but I believe deep down our hearts, we all crave for free things.

“How do you feel jumping from one place to another just because of 100naira malt?” one would ask. Do you know how Nigerians will feel if tomatoes and fuel were free? That’s how I feel every Sunday when I step out as a first timer. Come to think of it, what if churches gave out fuel to members that come to church every Sunday? Imagine the turn up of people.

  1. Lol, this is so true. Ur Tp may be costlier than the malt tho but there is this Joy in receiving new things and also, its opportunity for a sister to walk up to you and ask your name again.

  2. Hunger hook man for neck, shey na bow tie
Watever it takes, me I no shy

  3. New insight to managing the “Change Mantra”. This should be put up in other popular social media to help “ordinary Nigerians”. Who needs churches to pay taxes again when they began to feed the masses on Sundays? I can’t stop laughing. Exiting piece.
