Super-talented doesn’t clearly define how good May D was in his prime. He was so good that he got a record deal with arguably the biggest pop stars in the country at the time—P-Square (Square Records). Before signing him, the label was just a special-purpose vehicle for the Okoye twins and their brother, who was also their manager and video director, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye.
While May D’s recent media antics, including social media comments and claims, may make some fans roll their eyes, the Confam Boy’s talent can never be denied.
Let’s throw it back to four (4) special hits May D served us in the past.
Gat Me High
Sweet sweet music…
So Many Tinz
He can really dance too, yebaaaa!
Lowo Lowo (Remix) featuring Davido
When he linked up with Davido for a comeback single, they made a smash hit.
Get Down featuring Oskido
In 2013, May D took his Nigerian fans down to Southern Africa when he linked up with producer Oskido for a continental club banger. You probably danced to this or your uncles did.
How many of these tracks did you rinse, and which was your favourite?
